Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the Zermatterhof was a delightful experience, with spacious and elegant rooms featuring excellent maid service. The location at the center of the village was truly exceptional, offering easy access to all amenities. The dining experience was exceptional, and the friendly service staff catered to my tricky dietary concerns with professionalism. However, the dining options could be more diverse, and the service, though professional, lacked a bit of warmth. Overall, a wonderful stay.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience for me. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Zermatt, making it super convenient for exploring the area, but the lack of air conditioning and balcony in the room was a downside. Still, it's the best hotel I've ever stayed in during my 40 years of travel.
Our stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were prepared with a cot and a pull-out sofa for the kids, which was nice, but nothing particularly special. Unfortunately, at night, there wasn't enough lighting, and the room was too hot during our entire stay despite seeking assistance on the first night.
The hotel offers a pillow menu and spacious rooms that are super comfortable, making us feel like royalty with exceptional service. However, the room size is really meant for a couple, not a family of four.
I found the hotel to be conveniently located, just a few minutes from the train station and all the lovely attractions nearby. It's right in the heart of Zermatt, offering a high-end mountain lodge style on the inside. The service was nice, with helpful assistance in directing us to a nearby ski shop for rentals. The dining experience was satisfactory at their outdoor Brasserie Liso. The rooms needed renovation but were available on the 5th floor with a balcony, even though it came at the expense of the view to a junior suite. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
